Chit Chat Tuesday: Patricia Dente from Little BU

Little BU - Line up

Today on Chit Chat Tuesday I am joined by the wonderful Patricia, director and founder of Little BU Nail Varnishes.

If you haven’t yet heard of Little BU then now is the time to familiarise yourself! ATTENTION Mums and Dads! If you’re looking for an excuse to have a pampering day then we have found your answer as Little BU is a non toxic nail varnish brand specifically targeted towards children. So, when you’re in need of some retail therapy you can drag your kiddies along with Little BU in tow without the worry of toxic fumes!

The Wash Off and Peel Off formulas work wonders! There’s no need to doubt Little BU as they do exactly that they say! I am definitely a lover and I am sure your kiddies will be to…

Kate: Tell us about your beauty secrets…

Little BU: Having been trained in skincare by the top industry experts, I started to take care of my skin at a very early age. I have fallen in love with Dr. Lancer’s foaming cleanser. A few days a week I exfoliate with Kate Somerville’s ExfoliKate to slough off dead skin cells. I never leave home without hydrating my skin with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum which is just a genius product. During the day I moisturise with Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20. It adds the most perfect dewy glow. In the evening, I switch to a heavier cream like CHANEL Sublimage.

Kate: Did you always know you wanted to go in to Beauty?

Little BU: When I started my career 17 years ago, I initially wanted to go into fashion, but I landed an amazing opportunity at a beauty PR agency in New York which was the best foundation for my career. I learned a generous amount of information about the science behind skincare, fragrance and makeup, which was an incredible foundation for my future positions.

Kate: Why London?

Little BU: I left my career heading up the CHANEL Beauté publicity department in NY to move to London when I met my husband. I had put all of my energy in NY into my career, friends and family, so I thought it was time to work on my personal life!

Kate: Why the name Little BU?

Little BU: Little BU is not only a term of endearment, but it means, “BE YOU”. We believe all of our little clients should let their personality shine, and express themselves with colour.

Kate: If you could be a Little BU nail varnish which one would you be?

Little BU: What a fab question! I would be Alexi, vibrant and sparkly!

Kate: What have we got to look forward to with Little BU?

Little BU: We’ll expand our Little BU nail range as seen with our Autumn/Winter 2013 Paint On Peel Off nail polish. We’ll also grow the makeup category, bodycare and move into hair accessories as well! We have a lot to look forward to!

Thank you so much for joining both myself and Patricia on Chit Chat Tuesday! Tune in next week for another session of chinwagging…
