Seven-year-old Ida May loves being in front of the camera and recently her dream came of becoming a model came true when she was signed by an international kid’s modelling agency.
Based in Germany, Ida attends an international school and excels in languages and loves her maths class.
Ida is an animal lover and loves singing and dancing…something you will find her doing every day as it makes her happy!

Which modelling agency are you represented by? Sugar Kids and Hip4Kidz in the Netherlands.
Who represents you with regard to acting? Söhne und Töchter Düsseldorf/Berlin/Hamburg.
Why did you decide to start modelling? Since I was a little girl I have enjoyed being in front of a camera and love seeing the results. I have always loved playing around with my mum’s camera, make-up and I love to dress up and create new styles and watch models in magazines. Since this year I actively following my dream as I am now represented by an agency and I am soooo looking forward to what the future holds for me. It’s just such a great opportunity!
What is the best part about being a model? I guess it is the opportunity to work with big brands, to travel to beautiful places, meet new people and make new friends, save a little for the future and of course the quality time I will have with my mom/dad when travelling.
But in the end, it’s the final result – seeing the pictures or the commercial etc, with yourself featuring. This is amazing and makes me happy and proud.
Which has been your favourite photoshoot to date? I had a virtual shoot with the talented Shelley Oxford /UK which was so much fun as well with Carina Augusto, who did the amazing pictures for this feature. I just loved everything about it.
If you could work with any fashion brand which would be at the top of your list? This is such a difficult question when being new to the fashion world. But I love working for a designer brand someday as Burberry, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Dsquared e.g.
Which is your favourite fashion magazine/blog? Really?! JSL of course. I love the features of models from all over the world, fantastic editorials and blog.
Which are your favourite fashion brands? Well, So many favourite brands. I love all kind of fashion, elegant, creative, athleisure,….but right now I love ZARA, MANGO, The Animal Observatory, Bobo Choses, Little Creative Factory….soooo many cool brands. Just love fashion!
Which models do you look to for inspiration? Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Karlie Kloss,….
How long have you been an actress? I have just started with an agency this year….so looking forward to seeing what projects come my way.
What is your favourite item in your closet? Ohhh, this is hard – I have plenty of favourite items…but right now I love my leather jacket as well as several jumpsuits. They are cool and comfy in the summertime.
Who is your role model? My mom, as she is, hardworking and strong and always there for me and the family. I love u.
Do you speak any languages? If so which languages? I am in the first grade of an international school and started English classes last year and will also start with Spanish lessons in the second grade. I am really happy my school is international and focuses on languages and culture which is very important. ;O)
What is your favourite subject at school? I love English classes, art, sports and math classes
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love all kinds of sports and love being active. I love skating, dancing and singing, as well as playing with my brother who is 1 year older than me. I love watching movies and meeting my friends.
What is the last book your read & the last film you saw? I love the German book and movie series “Bibi und Tina”. My last movie was “Yes Day” it was a funny film.
If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be?
1. That my family and friends stay healthy and be happy
2. Travel the world with my family
3. A cat – I loooove cats
What is your biggest dream? Besides getting rid of the Coronavirus, my dream is to proceed with my modelling and acting career and work on big brand campaigns or a movie, as well as staying healthy and being able to explore the world.
