Tuxel Fulton is seven years old and lives in New Hampshire, USA. Tuxel is represented by NYMMG, Ohlsson (NYC), and Dynasty (Boston). At just seven years old this young man has already amassed a number of editorial features in various magazines and has been on the cover of Ivy Magazine, as well as featured as one of the Year’s Most Beautiful in Child Model Magazine. Tuxel has participated in New York Fashion Week walking for Wonderland Childrenswear and even has a suit that was named for him – the Little Gentleman Suit in the collection was named – The Tuxel!
Which modelling agency are you represented by? I am represented by NYMMG, Ohlsson (NYC), and Dynasty (Boston).
Why did you decide to start modelling? When I was very young, it was as simple as I enjoyed being in front of the camera. Now that I am at the ripe old age of seven, I enjoy creativity, working well with others, communicating through expression, and the satisfaction of good work, all of which are part of modelling. I like the way I can share my personality through pictures… especially when there is room for my confidence and dry sense of humour!
What is the best part about being a model? The best part about being a model is the opportunity to learn and practice valuable skills for life. I get to learn in school and out of school! And the related travel is usually an extra dose of education and fun. Modelling involves proper communication, time management, creativity, and teamwork. It also involves being prepared with proper nutrition, hydration, exercise, and rest, as well as trying to understand the content of a project or photoshoot. I enjoy new experiences as a model and modelling with my sister, Tyl-Elle.
Which has been your favourite shoot to date? I think my favourite shoot has been an outside editorial for La Belle Kidz that involved a hike! I love playing and being active outside, whether a pick-up game of ball with schoolmates or running through the woods by my home. So naturally, I enjoyed hiking a hill by the ocean for a shoot! The shoot was fun, and the editorial was beautiful.
Which is your favourite fashion magazine/blog? Junior Style London, of course! It is a one-of-a-kind blog and I am delighted and honoured to be featured as a Monday Model.
I also want to express my appreciation for magazines that have provided opportunities for me, just one of many kids. Sometimes one opportunity helps create the next opportunity, and so I am grateful to various magazines that have done that for me. They include La Belle Kidz, Dixie, Ivy, Gladys, Wild Child, Youngstrs, Madison, Lensational, Elegant Kids, Hopscotch, Child Model, Fashion Kids, L’Officiel Kids and more.
Which are your favourite fashion brands? I have a special appreciation for the brands I have modelled in fashion editorials and on the runway of New York Fashion Week, especially the Little Gentleman Suit by Wonderland Childrenswear named for me: The Tuxel!
What is your favourite item in your closet? My favourite item in my closet is my camouflage hoodie. I like to wear it for comfort at home and for warmth when I am playing outside or working with my tools on my treehouse.
Who is your role model? My role model is my father. He is faithful and kind. He also is a doctor and, during the pandemic, I am reminded of his hard work to care for others.
What is your favourite subject at school? I like all my subjects, but I especially like math and writing (and recess of course)!
What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy family time at home, and in my spare time, I like to be moving and exercising! I like all sorts of exercise and sports, such as playing ball, skiing, skating, hiking, and running. I also like taking piano and guitar lessons. Sometimes I like to write creative stories, too.
What is the last book you read and film you saw? The last book I read was Treasure Island and the last film I saw was from the Avengers series. My family and I also read together something daily from the Bible and from The Purpose Driven Life.
If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? The first wish would be for health, the second wish would be for wisdom, and the third wish would be for 3 more wishes!
If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be? I cannot think of anyone in particular. I like meeting different people and the opportunity to connect with different people.
