Fashion Editorial Submission Guidelines
- Outfit and Model Requirements:
- Submissions must include multiple outfits and multiple models.
- If the editorial features a single model, there must be at least 6–7 outfit changes.
- If the editorial consists of only one model and primarily focuses on portraits that promote the model or photographer’s work, such a submission will not be featured in the fashion editorial section.
- Seasonal and Event-Appropriate Timing:
- The wardrobe must be season-appropriate and align with the timing of the event or season it’s intended for.
- For example, if it’s Christmas time, we are unlikely to feature summer dresses unless they are justified by a specific theme. We are looking for content that reflects the current or upcoming season, or events relevant at that time.
- Brand Diversity:
- Outfits featured in the editorial must be from different brands to showcase a variety of styles and influences.
- If the editorial features only one brand, it will be considered an advertorial and will not be featured in the fashion editorial section.
- Content Value:
- Submissions should offer value for publication. This could include informative content, inspiration, or a fresh perspective on fashion trends. The editorial should be timely, relevant, and engaging for the audience.
- Credits:
- All team members (photographers, stylists, models, etc.) and wardrobe credits must be included with the submission. Please ensure all credits are accurate and complete. We will copy and paste credits as provided, and any typos or mistakes will be the responsibility of the person submitting the work.
- Submission Rights:
- By submitting the editorial, you confirm that you have the rights to do so and that the work has not been submitted elsewhere for publication.
- Publication and Archiving:
- Once the editorial is published, we will not accept any requests for removal or changes. The editorial will become a part of the Junior Style archive.
We look forward to reviewing your submissions! Please ensure they meet these criteria before sending them over.
