Larissa Bazile mother of Paxton Beau is originally from Berlin, Germany and now living on the East coast, with her husband Sterling, Paxton and their Pomeranian Baloo. When Pax was born he rekindled Larissa’s love of kids fashion and photography. You will find Pax kitted out in the latest international kids fashions, quite often alongside his best friend Baloo whom he shares a beautiful relationship with. Follow, Larissa and Paxton’s blog to be kept up to date on boys style.
The beginning of Fall has got Paxton asking me “Why are leaves falling?” and “How does tree drink water from the rain?” Paxton is soon to turn three years old and it’s astonishing to me what these little ones notice and think about.
Ready for school? We just visited a local Waldorf School which isn’t as common here in the States as in Germany. The school has the most beautiful, dreamy campus in the middle of the woods with little trails for the kids to go on a hike. The classrooms all had wooden furniture and looked so peaceful and calm. Children set their tables themselves with cute little placemats, flowers and candles. They make their own food right there in the school, using vegetables and other ingredients from their own garden.
The children get to be outside 2-3 hours of their five-hour day and while they have a playground they’re also allowed to venture out into the woods and explore. Pax immediately lit up when he saw the playground and began playing there. He saw wild turkeys in the woods and told me “mama look, look!” I knew right then this was the perfect spot for him until he’d start kindergarten! Pax loves being outdoors in nature so much there couldn’t be a better fit for him. If you’re interested in this type of school just google Waldorf schools. This school was certainly kid heaven for sure!
FYI my photos were not taken by the school but a local park on a foggy morning! I loved the mood it set!
