When you come to an opportunity to visit the Golden State of the USA, what better way to do it than as a family road trip!
From down south to up north we encountered gleaming white sand beaches, sophisticated cities & eclectic little beach towns, intricate freeways & rugged terrains, the relentless Pacific ocean battering against mysterious foggy cliffs.
The highlight of our trip has to be the untouched beauty of the protected national parks of California where redwoods & giant sequoias line impressive granite cliffs of the Sierra mountains or giant boulders scattered over a vast desert landscape adorned by the unique hollow centred Joshua trees.
I truly believe that travelling shapes us into who we are with priceless unadulterated knowledge & wisdom, for kids and grown-ups alike and we are so grateful for it.
