Summertime Vibes for Mr.P and I include venturing to the Children’s trade shows such as Playtime NYC. It was such a pleasure to be able to cover the recent edition of Playtime for Junior Style.
Playtime NYC continues to be a fabulous source of inspiration for me as a stylist and photographer. There are so many talented and amazing designers that exhibit at the trade show, that it is no wonder Playtime NYC draws impressive crowds.
I had the opportunity to connect with some amazing peeps at Playtime and talk trends in children’s fashion.
A theme that ran through the show that really excited me, was the different takes on the classic bomber jacket. My particular favourites were the hand embroidered Infantium Victoria bomber and the hand printed bomber jacket by PAOM which uses sustainable methods in the production and design.
There were some lovely whimsical designs from Raspberry Plum and Noch Mini, which has a playful sensibility that I adored. Telegraph Ave had a lovely range of cozy play wear that you can mix and match a brand I could not keep from touching, as they have the most yummy jersey you’ve ever felt!

Even though the summer is not over, I am already looking forward the next season delights. Princetown and I look forward to showing you some of our AW16 favourites next month.
