Immersing us in a world of elegant fantasy and romance is high-end children’s fashion brand Infantium Victoria. With collections truly unique to mainstream fashion, designers Julia Gaydina and Dinie van den Heuvel are not afraid of “not fitting in.”
Inspired by the mission to create a ‘new dimension’ in the kid’s fashion world, Julia and Dinie base their designs around the idea that children’s clothing should be sophisticated yet practical and functional yet elegant.
Infantium Victoria is designed in Belgium and made in Europe (Germany and Portugal) and there are a few items per collection sourced in India. Every piece in the collection is handmade and created using certified organic materials and produced in an ethical, environmentally friendly manner. Proudly carrying the PETA-approved vegan symbol, the brand promise to only deliver animal-friendly products, not containing any leather, fur, skin or wool.
Summer 2016 brought us the collection, ‘By The Sea’ which featured edgy frill tops, bodysuits and dresses, nautical striped skirts, shirts, overalls and pants as well as a unique interpretation of the classical sailor jacket. Perfect for the young, curious explorer.
The New AW16 collection “Flowers in Concrete”, is a collaboration with Swiss fashion designer Sandro Marzo. Sandro is known throughout the fashion industry for his radical re-invention of classic menswear. Sandro’s focus lies on traditional textiles and the development of proportions and silhouettes. Following the launch of his own fashion brand in 2011, Sandro was awarded the Design Prize Switzerland and later, the Swiss Federal Design Prize.
Combining elegance with urban edge, this collection is completely unique to anything else on the market. The designers brilliant use of textures, gothic undertones, embroidery and dramatic cuts separate Infantium Victoria from the rest.
