Fall17 collection – Tale of A Wooden Hut.
“It all started in December when we went for a weekend in the countryside. An old wooden hut – where we stayed – seemed cozy and spooky at the same time. Later on, my sister and I had no idea still about how could we get back to town across the snow covered forest… So, we stayed in our enchanting hideaway.” Designer Manuela Maráczy
The Fall17 collection will shelter you with their lovely “hideaway” hand prints. The graphics are made using different techniques, paintbrush, pencil, and marker. The new collection contains the popular Manuela raincoat in a new colour for the season, a warm velvet jacket for the cold autumn, cozy woolen knitted cardigans and a Bolero’s that will keep your littles warm in winter.
The brand has been described as ‘decorative minimalism, where Scandinavian Puritanism meets Hungarian decorative and colourful floral culture.’ Using the finest fabrics, mostly from Italy, designer Manuela Maráczy creates her own prints and patterns are printed by hand using silk screen technique. Manuela does not follow the seasonal trends and finds inspiration from everyday life. Garments are made locally within the designer’s community in Hungary.

The brand originally founded in 2005 in Helsinki as a women’s wear line and six years later in 2011 the kid’s collection was founded in Budapest after the designer becoming a parent with two daughters. Flipy is a new label under Manuela Design and is a new style flip-flop.
