Ex-punk mum Veneta and her little fashionista Kaira from the fashion and lifestyle blog EdgyCuts join Junior Style as new contributors. Bringing Mum and Mini Fashion with a twist, preferring edgy and minimal style, this week the duo create fun ballet street style looks
Back then, in my early 20s, I used to live in a rental flat in the heart of the capital. Surprisingly, what I enjoyed the most during those college years were not the late evenings out, but my early morning walks in the city centre on the weekends when no one was around but a few old ladies selling flowers and the occasional dog owners.
Many years later, with Miss Kaira still in her crib, we had a family weekend getaway in Vienna, where we stayed at an apartment few steps from Stephansplatz. Different times, different city, same mood. There were the empty streets and squares, the smell of freshly baked breakfast pastries, and the local senior citizens genuinely greeting us with a nod and a smile.
Fast forward six years, here we are in the European Capital of Culture, Plovdiv which is my hometown, on a beautiful Sunday morning after having breakfast at a local bakery in Kapana Creative District, drinking smoothies and chatting with my mini about … well…, boys :}
