The Great Retail Revival Foundation have teamed up with House of Fraser to offer the opportunity for 10 promising brands to trade within their Flagship store on Oxford Street from 12th-26th May in a Pop-up market called POP at HOF.
At the end of the two week period one of the ten brands will be selected to retail online with the House of Fraser for one year.
I am really happy to help promote the Pop-up as i am passionate about supporting innovative ideas and new independent brands such as the likes of Skribbies who are the only kids brand to be nominated as a finalist!

Jennifer Duthie the entreprenuer behind Skribbies has been selected as 1 of the 10 finalists to trade for two weeks in the special House of Fraser Pop Up. Jennifer came up with the idea of a customisable kids trainer that can be drawn on over and over again, thanks to their unique wipe clean surface.
As you all know, i love things that are a little bit different. When i first came accross Skribbies, both my boys 6yrs and 10yrs at the time thought the product was great and wanted a pair. Usually, the 10yr old would not want to be seen in anything that the 6yr old was wearing! Then i realised why the product was so great and appealing. At school these days there is very little time for the children to artists and reports have shown there is far less time in the class room spent doing art work and creative activities, so these appealed to the children as they could be their own ‘designers’ and release their creativity in a new way, every day!
My youngest sneaked a pair out and started drawing on them when i was looking after some Skribbie’s stock after a Junior Style Event and could not put the MAGIC pens down. I bought the pair for him and he was completely obsessed with them, taking the pens everywhere we went and scribbling on them on the bus, in the park. Ethan loved the fact he could wipe them clean and start again the next day! When i say scribbling he was only 6yrs and not great at drawing then…..naturally, now hes a great artist!
