At the heart of boyhood is a particular kind of friendship — something close to brotherhood. It can be loud, mischievous and full of trouble, yet unexpectedly tender at the same time. Between running around, climbing where they shouldn’t and turning almost anything into a competition, there are quieter signs of affection: loyalty, trust, shared secrets and simply being there for one another.
BOYHOOD follows two friends through Marseille as autumn begins to change the rhythm of the season. Wandering through sun-washed streets, old corners and the unmistakable Mediterranean scenery, they make their own adventures along the way. The new-season wardrobe becomes part of that journey — layered knits, jackets, denim and relaxed silhouettes made for cooler days, freedom and movement.
Boys still make a surprisingly rare appearance in children’s fashion editorials, where girls often dominate both the imagery and storytelling. BOYHOOD shifts the focus, finding its story in something simple and real: two boys, great autumn fashion, Marseille as their playground, and the special friendship that exists somewhere between mischief and brotherhood.
A story of boyhood in all its contrasts — restless and rebellious, full of mischief, loyalty, and the quiet closeness of a friendship that feels like brotherhood.
