I’ve got a serious case of the January Blues. It’s cold, grey and wet, the perfect time to bring out kids’ fashion that’s both stylish and durable. Let’s hear it for denim.
Denim has been having a moment for the last few seasons. It’s been decorated with patches, embroidered, paired with patchwork, ripped and more recently fringed. Either way, plain or reconstructed denim is a kids’ style staple and a particularly great layer for these colder months.
I love nothing better then a pair of dungarees under a chunky sweater or a denim jacket or vest worn under a coat. Denim shorts are great with patterned knit tights and dresses divine over blouses or polo necks.
That’s why I’ve rounded up my favourite denim buys to kick-start the year with true blue flair.
1. Molo Jacket
2. It’s In My Jeans Bomber Jacket
4. Il Gufo Blue Frill Dress @ Alex and Alexa
7. Stella McCartney Donkey Patch dungarees. You can find more from the collection here.
9. Moschino Shorts with Fancy Patches
