Q & A:
What was your inspiration behind the editorial?
Fairytales often explore the unknown of our minds, the place we know exists but still, we are not very familiar with the subconscious. This was our inspiration.
We envisioned our tale existing in a playground of dreams, where dimensions are interwoven, and by combining contrasting yet coherent elements, we established our narrative. Β Our aim was to create an editorial that would light up the imagination of children and adults alike, just as a classic fairytale of the Brothers Grimm, enchanting, dark and magical.
How did you plan the editorial?
The shoot was planned through all kinds of web-based communication, this being proof of how well people, even though remote, can today create together. It was a great team effort, and everybody emphasised adding their best.
From the studio choice, styling and set design, all the way to a furry monobrow or two – we had such a great time creating this story!
