Meet Agatha Cub- Kids Stuff For The Curious

agathacub-nicholaspelliott 2249I have great pleasure in introducing you to a new kids brand all the way from New York called Agatha Cub, which I’m sure you will love as much as me.

Launched by Bianca Reis, an Australian now living in Brooklyn, it’s an apparel and accessories brand designing workwear for active kids & their parents.

Bianca has a strong fashion background in men’s and women’s contemporary fashion and has worked for brands such as Helmut Lang, Kimberley Ovitz and Orley. She decided to launch her own kid’s label, after her two nephews were born.

I love the name of the brand- Agatha- which means good – was a 3rd century martyr- who was executed for standing up for herself. And Bianca sees her as someone who asks questions, cares and is proud of what she believes in- that her cubs would have been everything she was and more is what we hope for our cubs.

Determined to move away from the beige connotations that Organic clothes sometimes have- the collection is sustainably sourced and ethically made, and they strive to redefine what organic means in today’s marketplace.

The new Spring/Summer 15 collection is bold, fun, vibrant and incredibly stylish. Seeking inspiration from the streets of New York, the brand offer amazing contemporary prints and aim to reinterpret street wear classics through photography and digital manipulation.
With the philosophy of the company to inspire our little cubs to be curious, ask questions and to celebrate all things weird and wonderful there is nothing I don’t like about this company. Not only are they socially responsible their collection is flawless with cool abstract patterns- the perfect clothes for little adventures.
