The charms of the Sorrentine Peninsula has never been so accurately embodied as by this quaint villa we stayed in over Easter break. Situated in a quintessential coastal town of Vico Equense, it is within reach of the more popular destinations of Sorrento & the Amalfi, minus the big crowds.
Waking up in the mornings are the best. Fresh air and languorous breakfast al fresco, before venturing out.
And after a long, hot day of exploring and playing tourist, we just couldn’t wait to get back to this calm sanctuary to relax and recharge. We would hang out on the verandah, surrounded by lemon, orange and olive trees, with the view of picturesque cliffside dwellings overhanging the turquoise coastline.
