Why choose one colour of the season when you can wear them all? This summer is all about chasing the rainbow with a kaleidoscope of hues. From rainbow prints and stripes to colourful blocks, kids’ fashion has gone pop-bright.
The rainbow trend is one of the happiest you can find. Every colour all at once, retro-inspired stripes, cheerful prints and artful colour placements, summer on a hanger.
There are no rules, mix and match the colours and prints or add a flash of the look with rainbow accessories. I’m a personal fan of denim and rainbows. It’s most likely nostalgia for my childhood summers in the 1980s. Colour blocking is a more edgy rainbow look especially with minimal silhouettes, and flashes of metallic and black. Get the festival look and mix the rainbows in with sparkles, holographic finishes and, of course, rainbow’s alma mater the unicorn.
So get involved in the most uplifting trend of the year, which you’ll be pleased to hear, is carrying through to AW18 the perfect antidote to dark and gloomy winter.
