There are as many as 57 Spanish brands showcasing their new collections at the latest edition of Pitti Bimbo 88, the bi-annual kid’s fashion tradeshow held in Florence Italy.
The Children’s Fashion from Spain runway spectacular at Pitti Bimbo 88 held on 17/1/19 was highly anticipated as usual and the six AW19 collections showcased did not disappoint.
Spanish brands Abel & Lula, Amaya, Bobili, Mayoral, Tartaleta and Tuc Tuc transformed the runway into a style journey showcasing highlights of their AW19/20 collections and taking the audience on an adventure.
The journey began on the asphalt of the big city, in an urban and cosmopolitan scene, where time passes quickly and there is room for everything from the influence of urban art, graphics and prints. Scottish tartan, herringbone fabrics, fur, pompoms, sophisticated lace and gems added that extra detail to outfits for next Autumn/Winter and those festive evenings.
The Spanish brand Tuc Tuc celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, showcased its new collection which featured colourful faux fur, pom poms and took its lead from one of the key trends for this season, which is Free-Style. Clothing had a colourful and fun urban feel.
The boy’s collection for AW19 explores the skater style and takes its influences from urban art and streetwear styles. For the Mayoral girl’s collection, the focus was more on cutting edge shapes with an urban look, using black with pops of colour for AW19.
Abel & Lula
The Abel & Lula AW19 collection brings together traditional and avant-garde styles. The clothing label showcased beautiful, sophisticated, stylish girlswear.
Amaya AW19 collection featured plaids, faux fur and knits. Intense, vibrant colours and daring checks contrast with black and pinks help to create its cool, relaxed styles.
Designed and manufactured in Spain since 1998, Tartaleta is known for its simple lines yet is full of details. Journeying into the magic forest and taking its inspiration from this, in its prints and style, Tartaleta brought a wintery forest feel to the runway show.
Boboli brought easy to wear styles for boys and girls. Plaid, embroidery, warm woolly fabrics were key elements in the new AW19 collection.
