Q & A with photographer Maddie G.

JS: What made you decide to start creating editorials?

Maddie: I have been shooting editorials since 2013. I originally began as a headshot and fashion photographer, however, as my work with children developed further and I began to see them be themselves and come alive in front of the camera, I decided that I instead wanted to capture stories, true happiness and real moments.
JS: Where do you get your inspiration from?
Maddie: My inspiration is drawn from often random places. It can often be sparked by a beautiful piece of clothing that I might come across, or it could be something as simple as the seasons changing. Even without a camera in my hand, I feel as if I am always taking pictures and capturing moments with my eyes.
JS: Where did you get the inspiration from for Flowers In Bloom?
Maddie: This particular editorial was inspired by the summer festivals.
JS: What is your favourite flower?
Maddie: My favourite flowers are sunflowers 🙂
