JS: Where did you shoot My Generation?
TZ: We shot the editorial in the South of France at the French Riviera in Hyeres Les Palmiers. (Villa Noailles, Festival de la Photography et Mode, DesignParade etc). You may have heard of Magic World, which is a summer Fun Fair that is closed in the Winter time and during the summer season it is a very special place to all the local kids and Tourists! I asked the owner if he would agree to us shooting the editorial at Magic World and he agreed.
JS: Magic World looks like it was a fun location to shoot an editorial in.
TZ: Yes, the children really enjoyed the location even though it was closed, they came alive and helped create some fun images. We wanted to focus on kids and only kids! All children are local kids, either born in Hyeres or moved from Paris and just took to modelling really quickly and felt comfortable due to the location.
