Fashion Story: Ornamental Style By Sabrina Philippou

Stylist Sabrina’s Inspiration for Ornamental Style comes from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 Couture, Gucci Resort 2018, and the 1800’s Victorian fashion era.

Four-year-old Io (above) is the muse to mom Sabrina’s creative projects. Since the pandemic started, the mother and daughter team from Orlando, Florida’s normal “dress-up” playtime evolved into semi-pro photoshoots highlighting popular fashion brands. Io is very creative and loves dressing up and fashion.

Sabrina has always been a collector of antique brooches, but the come-back of the brooch to fashion jewelry is what motivated these images of daughter Io. Sabrina fell in love with the clustered approach to styling pieces, and soon daughter Io began to collect her own.  (Io loves small, shiny things 😊 )

‘The goal when capturing these images was to showcase fashion looks that were creative, elegant, and most importantly – appropriate on a young child. We hope our audience sees the vision at our attempt to put an exciting and fresh twist to classic clothing pieces’ Sabrina
