Jolie Maiya is a French designer brand offering timeless bohemian pieces for babies and children 0-8 years.

The clothing label is the meeting between French bohemian style, and the Beninese origins of its creator Edwige, with beautiful ethnic and colourful details.

Mom of two daughters, Edwige designs the collections and until recently also handmade all the clothing. Edwidge draws from her imagination and her African origins as well as her love for travelling and different cultures. With comfort and freedom being a priority, Jolie Maïya offers ample cuts leaving lots of room for children to feel free and comfortable when playing.

The new AW21 collection is produced in a workshop on a larger scale and is still handmade with more than 90% of the collection made using natural plant-based fabrics, fabrics that are kind to the most fragile skin.

Jolie Maiya is an ethical and sustainable brand, with great respect for people and the environment. Edwidge’s clothing workshop holds certifications guaranteeing respect for the working conditions of the brand’s subcontractors, the environment according to local standards and especially the banning of child labour.

Jolie Maïya prefers to produce to order to avoid overproduction and waste. This is possible thanks to the responsiveness of the workshop with which Edwige works, which mobilizes a team of 4 people dedicated to the brand in order to guarantee optimal quality and speed of production. The most important thing is that each piece we offer in the collection has been imagined, dreamed of, and made with care and above all with LOVE.
