Kodomo Boston: A Tea Party in the Woods

Komodo Boston Holiday Look Book

You may remember that Junior Style announced the opening of a new boutique in Boston, Kodomo (which is the Japanese word for child), at the beginning of the summer. Kodomo has grown from strength to strength since opening in August and we are thrilled to be able to share with you the Kodomo Holiday Lookbook shot by photographer Josephina Carlier with you.

Loosely based on Alice and Wonderland, Josephina and the team have created a whimsical tea party. Look out for the Mad Hatter and the Queen of hearts as they enjoy their afternoon tea!!

The Komodo team hand-picks clothing labels from around the globe, selecting clothing for its style and playfulness, carefully selecting clothing brands for their ethics and business practices.

Jasmin Punzalan comments that….  ‘Our brands are the antithesis of fast fashion, working to keep design and production as close to home as possible.   Each independent designer represented at kodomo sources materials in a conscious manner and operates thoughtfully and with honest intention.  Their stories are clear and reflect the ethics we wish to teach our own Kodomo littles.’

We are very lucky that Jasmine is offering all our readers and followers 20% off their order for a limited period of time.  Use JrStyleLondon20 at the checkout, for 20% off from 11/18 12:01AM EST until 11/25 midnight EST.

Visit the Kodomo website here and you can view the complete Holiday Lookbook with clothing credits.

Happy shopping!
