Monday Model Feature: Lilly Uddin Captured By Storme Sabine

Monday Model Feature: Child Model Lilly Uddin

Nine-year-old Lilly Uddin lives in Birmingham, UK. Lilly’s journey in modelling began two years ago when her mum Husne responded to a model call using the hashtag #usi. Lilly was signed up shortly after by the agency.

Lilly has had some amazing opportunities since she started modelling, including walking the runway for Iris Rose Children’s couture at the Great British garden fashion show in Hampton Court Palace and walking at Paris Fashion Week where Lilly’s pictures were featured in a number of magazines including Marie Claire and Lazin magazine.

Lilly has worked on campaigns for Kamzo, Benedita and NSPCC and has taken part in a commercial for Loccitane.  Last year Lilly got selected to be a Pineapple girl and met Debbie herself! The nine-year-old hopes to be starting projects with Pineapple in the coming months and she has just renewed her third-year contract with her agency USI.

Lilly’s favourite subject at school is computing and outside of school, Lilly loves to make fun and silly TikToks, swimming and Hip Hop and Street dance.

Which modelling agency are you represented by? USI Agency

Who represents you with regard to acting? USI Agency

Why did you decide to start modelling? I started two years ago because it sounded like a lot of fun and I wanted to wear lots of cool clothes.

What is the best part about being a model? You get to travel to places like Paris. I love going on planes, visiting new cities wearing lots of different types of clothes and meeting cool people.

Which has been your favourite shoot to date? The shoot with Storme was so much fun. I loved going down to the ‘studio’ on the lower deck of the lighthouse ship, and the shoot where I played ‘catch the hat’ with Nina was so much fun.

If you could work with any brand which would be top on your list? I would love to work with two main brands: Apple because I love my iPad and Next because I wear most of my clothes from there

Which is your top fashion magazine/blog? Vogue and Lazin

Which models do you look up to for inspiration? Winnie Harlow is amazing because she is representing a minority group. Also, my friend Molly Tuer is very talented and a great dancer.

What is your favourite item in your closet? My favourite item is my dungarees with hearts on them. It was one of the outfits from the shoot with Storme. I loved it so much that I had to go and buy one for myself.

Who is your role model? All the women in my family because they are super independent and strong-willed.

What are your favourite subjects at school? I love computing because I love working with digital. I also love history and learning about crazy things in the past is fun.

Do you speak any languages?  If so which languages?  I speak a little Bangla which is my mother tongue and I’m also learning French at school.

What are your hobbies? My favourite hobbies are swimming and dancing. I am part of a swimming club and take part in competitions.

If you could have 3 wishes, what would they be? My three wishes would be to have a healthier and better planet, have a new room where I can design it myself and pass my grammar test in year 5.

If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be? Zendaya because she is a nice person and a good actor and also knows Spider-Man.

What is your biggest dream? My biggest dream is to become an architect and a professional model.

What is the last book your read & film you saw? The last book I read was Danger Gang by Tom Fletcher and the last movie I watched was Arthur Christmas.

Follow Lilly on Instagram or TikTok to keep up to date with her new work and to watch some fun TikToks.
