Oaks of Acorn—in a nutshell—is fun, stylish, and comfortable. Founded between Hong Kong and New York by three fashion majors at Parsons School of Design in New York City who are now mothers and entrepreneurs, the trio leads one of the most sought after independent children’s labels today.
Known for sumptuous fabrics and playful, innovative design, the Spring Summer ’17 collection Hong Kiddos Sports Day is an homage to Hong Kong and to the joy of summer sports. With a sunny, bold palette of primary colours reminiscent of Olympic games, the collection is a sporty chic manifesto that prioritises function and form in equal measure.
We are in love with the children’s denim chambray jackets and herringbone accents, endearing panda motifs, and picnic table check prints for children. The infant collection is no less precious with easy silhouettes, lots of stripes, body suits, and fun graphics that allow full freedom of movement in the softest fabrics.

Oaks of Acorn co-founder Bezanne Lau was recently featured in an Oaks of Acorn interview in our popular Chit Chat Tuesday series. Said Lau, ‘Coming from a womenswear background, I don’t just look for comfort in my designs, I also emphasise trends and style, and I want the little fashionistas to feel cool and confident in our clothes. My designs are very much inspired by the adult trends, and I am hoping to present a parents’ line someday!’ We can’t wait to see this, too!
