We are thrilled to share with you this beautiful editorial, Poetic Dreamers. Poetic Dreamers is a nod to a childhood well lived.
JS: How did you choose which brands to feature?
RF: The brands were chosen for their modern romantic feel. The delicate patterns, warm tones and soft fabrics of the European brands, Minabulle and Grain de Chic help to set the mood as the children explored the gardens of this old Auckland residence and complimented the story.
JS: Why did you choose the location for the shoot?
RF: The location complimented the style of the clothing perfectly and helped to set a relaxing atmosphere. Choosing to keep it simple, classic and laid back, as to allow the garments to speak for themselves. Little Miss Zoe jewellery added a fun pop of colour and creativity to each of the looks, the kids loved mixing and matching their adorable pieces.
I just love the traditional style of these brands, which contain chic and simple pieces. My favourite piece from the editorial would definitely be the Minabulle Pink & Gold “Jupe Montaine” skirt from their recently released AW16/17 collection. This fabric and pattern were just gorgeous and suited model, Nouvel perfectly.
