Telegraph Ave: Rebel and Play in Autumn 2016

Telegraph Ave AW16

Telegraph Ave is a minimalist chic, unisex kids clothing line designed and made in California.  The philosophy of the brand is to be fun, comfortable and wearable.

Embracing diversity and with a Californian free spirited vibe, Aman Athwal, the creator and designer of Telegraph Ave draws her inspiration from her own background to create the distinctive designs for children.

The AW16 collection has just launched and the AW16 look book was styled by Junior Style contributor Marcela Naranjo.

The AW16 collection is inspired by music legend David Bowie’s hit, Rebel Rebel.

“You’ve got your mother in a whirl

She’s not sure if you’re a boy or a girl….”

‘Rebel Rebel, you’ve torn your dress

Rebel Rebel, your face is a mess….”

“You want more and you want it fast…”

“You’re a juvenile success…”

Designed for versatility, comfort and style, Telegraph Ave clothing grows with your child. Overalls are cuffed so they can be unrolled with growth; harems turn into cropped harems and tunics can be worn as dresses.

Aman ethically sources the fabrics for each collection, using high end designer deadstock- fabric that would have been sent to the landfill now gets a second life.  The line is made by local artisans and a woman’s group from the Bay Area, Oakland, CA local community.
