Recently, our longstanding fashion friend, tween fashion influencer Zoe Yu showcased her capsule collection HOJxZoe at TKFW. We were very lucky that GlamZ Gala Model Milana Spark, another of our fashion friends, was also attending the event and walking for several brands in runway shows, including her good friend Zoe’s.

My experience at Toronto Kids Fashion Week (TKFW) was so amazing! I got to meet lots of designers, other models, and people who I am now very close friends with. The experience of walking the runway at TKFW is not just about modeling, it helped me build confidence and make new friends.
I have walked the runway at TKFW for three seasons now and had an amazing time having this experience. TKFW is growing and now brings the runway experience to kids in Calgary and Montreal. The recent TKFW Montreal edition was a big hit. It was a special show for me because my friend Zoe Yu (@zoe.b3an) collaborated with the House of Juniors fashion label to design her own capsule collection and I was honored to model one of the outfits at the TKFW HOJXZOE runway show.
During the show, I was also able to help backstage and helped get the little kids in their outfits and ready for their show, it was so fun! The backstage was quite organized; we got our hair done first, then makeup, then outfits, and then it was showtime! Everyone was extremely nice and I’m so grateful that I was able to have this opportunity!
I got to meet and walk for some amazingly creative designers at TKFW. Eyes on Mi pieces are always fancy, and creative, and are made by young and talented fashion students. Two Sister’s dresses are gorgeous and make every girl look and feel like a princess. Walking for Titika Active was so fun and I got to trade my heels for sneakers to model for this athleisure brand. VC Venco outfits were fun and stylish with lots of vibrant colors.
The highlight of my experience was walking for House of Juniors and modeling alongside my friend Zoe Yu who designed the capsule collection HOJ x Zoe. Zoe is an amazing designer and fashionista who is my age! Her collection is street-style inspired, stylish, and comfortable with white and black patterns and a touch of green. My favorite pieces are joggers, fur vests, and signature suspenders that I love using as an accessory with different outfits. I love Zoe’s street-style-inspired collection it is stylish and so comfortable.
I feel that every brand and designer has an interesting and cool backstory and I love learning more about their creative process.
I sure did make some great memories and will definitely have to come back next season. Hope to see everyone there next season!
