Christmas Gift Guide

blog christmasgift Intro collageI can not believe that Christmas is closing in on us.  If you are like me and leave everything to the last minute, then this Christmas gift guide is for you.

As you know, we generally try to stick to only talking about clothing on Junior Style, but of late with Christmas on our doorstep you may have noticed we are talking TOYS!  Rest assured everything will be back to normal soon and we will go back to talking about clothing, accessories and footwear only!!

There are lots of amazing gifts and toys on the market currently, so it is not easy trying to getting a Christmas gift edit together!!

Here are a few of my favourites.

I hope that I have found a little something for all ages from 2 -10 years.  I particularly love wooden toys and when my boys were younger, I would seek out brands like Brio, Janod etc.  My youngest son Ethan, who is nearly eight years now, still plays with his/his brothers Brio train set which we add to every year (I am hoping that both boys can pass some of the sets on to their children).  Currently, I really love the Rock & Pebble Wooden Toys and you may have noticed, Corby Tindersticks Interactive soft toys are a favourite of mine too!

Well, we have no time to waste so lets get down to the selection!  Oh, whilst I remember, new contributor to the Junior Style Blog, Alexandra from Tendre Deal has some amazing toys and gifts for sale on her new FLASH SALE website, …..and better still, they all have a discount!

In the summer time I was very lucky to be invited to one of my favourite department stores’ press day and there are a few gift ideas I would like to share with you from that day.  Might I say I have always loved this store since moving to London, so, I naturally am happy to give my thumbs up to some very special gifts.

Selfridges Shop front and Ethan meeting Father Christmas in July….that one was a very hard one to explain to a 7yr old!!  ‘Mummy why is Father Christmas here and it is not even December yet!’ was what I kept being asked!
