Junior Style London are thrilled to be able to share ‘Postcards from Montana’ an editorial created by photographer Josephina Carlier, which appears in A Midsummer Nights Dream, the 10th issue of Hooligans magazine.
Defined by its diverse terrain from the Rocky Mountains to the Great Plains, Montana offers incredible backdrops for Josephine’s postcards!
A little Q & A with Josephine:
JS: Why did you decide to shoot in Montana?
JC: A family member has a holiday home in Montana and we are super lucky that we got the opportunity to visit during the August school holidays.
Montana is beautiful and I would love to do a big shoot there one day.
JS: We have featured another editorial, Blue Dreams in which your daughter Nina models for you. Does Nina enjoy modelling?
JC: For other photographers, yes, but not so much for her mum. I usually have to bribe Nina, but it is worth it as we are both always happy with the final images. Secretly I think she loves all the clothes as she likes fashion!
When we go on family holidays to amazing locations I will usually take some clothes for a shoot and get Nina to model for me.
Each time we are on a family vacation the whole extended family make me promise that I won’t do another shoot on the next holiday but I simply can not help myself as I never know if I will return to these amazing locations!
