Today I would like to introduce you to a wonderful UK based brand I have found, Milk Moustache Apparel.
Like quite a few enterprising Mums, Sarah the owner of Milk Moustache discovered the lack of cool clothing available in the UK for her little one.
Sarah found that some beautiful clothing was being created from gorgeous fabric in the US and Austrailia.
Not wanting to incur customs charges and taxes, she decided the best thing to do would be to order fabric and make clothing herself! And so, Milk Moustache was born!
Now, I would love to be one of those Mums who “simply” orders some fabric, whips out a sewing machine and creates some masterpieces.. but as yet, I don’t own a sewing machine and wouldn’t know where to start! No, I’m afraid I am one of those Mums who happily purchases other’s creations!
What I really love about Sarah and her brand Milk Moustache Apparel, is that she has designed one of her fabric prints, pop corn, in collaboration with Cheryl Rawlings and Sarah has plans for even more unique fabric designs! I love it when new brands go that one step further to make themselves stand out.
Sarah stocks all of our fave, beautiful shorts and leggings, stunning rompers and some very handy dribble bibs, burp clothes and even teething rings. There is just one t shirt design in Milk Moustache ‘s collection so far, however, I’m sure there will be more in the future!
Milk Moustache is run alongside Sarah’s full time job AND being a mother. I honestly don’t know how she can be doing all of that. All I can do is support her by sending her my pennies in exchange for some beautiful clothing!
