Mini Maven Iconic Issue: Viva Frida

Mini Maven Viva Frida

Junior Style are excited to share an editorial from the new issue of Kids fashion Magazine Mini Maven.  The editorial chosen focuses on the Mexican born painter Frida Kahlo who is admired as a feminist icon and is widely known for her self portraits.

Frida has also been an inspiration in the Fashion world. John Galliano, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Lacroix, Kenzo, McQueen and many more clothing designers have all been inspired by her style and Tehuana costumes.  This can now be seen in children’s wear, with the likes of Polish hand-painted Kidswear brand Efvva for example and more recently with Tia Cibani’s AW16 collection which were both inspired by Frida Kahlo.
