For his latest single, Icelandic/Austrian singer-songwriter Thorsteinn Einarsson looks back on the first stirrings of romantic love—the sweet and pure emotions of a childhood crush. Revisiting fond memories of his first love cut short by her family’s move out of town, the music video for Einarsson’s single ‘Swingset’ really pulls at the heartstrings!
For the video, Thorsteinn’s childhood sweetheart (played by the stunning Alexa Steiner) is dressed in an ethereal silk gown from The Small Gatsby’s SS17 collection Junge Römer and paired with their signature Theo pullover. The soft silhouette of the dress is highlighted by the knit merino top, bringing out the colour of the little girl’s blue eyes.
Not coincidentally, The Small Gatsby Brand Architect Teresa Zimmermann finds her worlds colliding as she returns to her professional roots in the music business. In a chat with her former colleagues at Sony Music Entertainment, the idea of collaborating with Thornsteinn came about organically.
In an additional twist of past-meets-present, Thorsteinn Einarsson is dressed in Modus Vivendi Vienna, the former atelier of The Small Gatsby’s Creative Director Anita Dorner.
