A New Season at Playtime – Looking ahead to SS16

Time is flying. I can’t believe that a few weeks ago there was a new Playtime edition, with the Spring-Summer 2016 collections.

This time, I went to the Playtime Paris Trade Show with Romaine from Junior Style to present her my favourite French brands. We spent two amazing days looking at the beautiful French Designers new collections.

So many amazing wonders that it’s tricky to make a selection. I have decided to show some of the French products & brands following the three Trends identified by the Playtime team. I have also added few little extras that I think you should see.

The Three Trends –

First Trend – “Take it easy” with simple shapes, minimalist design, natural materials, a dominance for all tones of white.

Second Trend – “Let’s dance” to the disco rhythm.  A throwback to the 70s, 80s with a definite modern edge.  Shiny and iridescent materials, bright and saturated, metallic colours and geometric patterns.

Third Trend – “On the road” explore the world and the different cultures. Cottons of every kind, Bright colors and ethnic prints.

1. “Take it Easy”

Where simplicity shines and simple shapes and comfort are essential.

Chouchou et Mandchou – Cotton Blouse.

Les Enfantines inspired by famous places in France. Their patterns stay simple.

However, Liberty prints will always remain essential in the collections of many French Designers.

4. Other Interesting Finds.

Deuz Toys and Games.

I am an unconditional fan of Deuz tents and I am glad to see that they are increasing the range.  This season, they’ve created a range in Partnership with Bonton.

Annabel Kern.

I also love Annabel Kern and was excited to seen a new addition to her range of decoration and accessories: the School Back pack.

I have discovered the French brand “Rive Droite“.  They pay tribute to Paris and create eco-minded products by upcycling (re-using materials).

The objective of Tendre Deal Boutique is to present you all these amazing brands at affordable prices. Next week, the Summer Sales will start with even more bargains. You won’t have any specific Flashsales until September. Register for Free and stay informed.
