Time is flying. I can’t believe that a few weeks ago there was a new Playtime edition, with the Spring-Summer 2016 collections.
This time, I went to the Playtime Paris Trade Show with Romaine from Junior Style to present her my favourite French brands. We spent two amazing days looking at the beautiful French Designers new collections.
So many amazing wonders that it’s tricky to make a selection. I have decided to show some of the French products & brands following the three Trends identified by the Playtime team. I have also added few little extras that I think you should see.
The Three Trends –
First Trend – “Take it easy” with simple shapes, minimalist design, natural materials, a dominance for all tones of white.
Second Trend – “Let’s dance” to the disco rhythm. A throwback to the 70s, 80s with a definite modern edge. Shiny and iridescent materials, bright and saturated, metallic colours and geometric patterns.
Third Trend – “On the road” explore the world and the different cultures. Cottons of every kind, Bright colors and ethnic prints.

This season, Lucien Zazou plays with geometric designs and the contrast between bright colours & grey/black.

3. “On the Road”

Deuz Toys and Games.
I am an unconditional fan of Deuz tents and I am glad to see that they are increasing the range. This season, they’ve created a range in Partnership with Bonton.

I have discovered the French brand “Rive Droite“. They pay tribute to Paris and create eco-minded products by upcycling (re-using materials).
