Our summer days have been spent seeking adventures in the wilderness where we’re granted a reprieve from the hot sun and shelter from a passing shower. Settling upon a manicured nature path, we’ve opened our senses to the treasures of these woods. With eagle eyes and bat ears, a hunt ensues to discover the limitless riches of our shadowy surroundings.
Playing homage to our wild environs, the girls wear cheerful floral print dresses from Illinois-based childrenswear brand, Wolfechild. Among the hard to please crowd, Claire Wolfe’s label has a cult-like following and continues to delight clientele with unique vintage fabrics constructed into playful handmade pieces. Owning one of her mod creations is a delight and working with her to find the perfect ensemble is even more so. Pulling inspiration from the natural world, Claire’s pieces breath life and invite curiosity.
As warmer days pass, forest shrubs grow unruly and provide a whimsical backdrop while we hunt for all things wild. We leave having captured only our observations, while these merry pieces from Wolfechild remind us of our adventures in this untamed landscape.
