It is the beginning of Summer in the Landes, South West France. Two children play in an ‘Imaginary Forest’ which looks and feels like a painting.
The mystical forest is the pathway to the beach and the masks the children wear mean they can go through the forest safely. Without the masks, the painting/forest would not allow them to be.
